Office-to-lab conversion supporting the biotech hub of San Diego's Sorrento Valley.

This 62,000sf project involved the development of laboratory and office spaces within a pre-existing warm core and shell. It entailed selective demolition, the addition of new amenity areas, installation of a new elevator, structural and seismic enhancements, MEP upgrades, and the incorporation of a new generator. Additionally, there was a repositioning of office space to accommodate life science functions, including structural and seismic improvements, installation of a new elevator, and implementation of specialized mechanical systems tailored for life science applications.
