An intimate new performance center where minds get blown.

Located in the heart of the Pepper Canyon neighborhood, the Epstein Family Amphitheater is a multi-functional performance venue for students, faculty/staff, and the wider professional and public community use. The amphitheater is positioned to make use of the natural landscape for seating and utilizes a custom-designed acoustic system to amplify sound through the outdoor venue. The project also improved surrounding landscaping and facades for three existing visual arts buildings, installed Stuart Collection artwork, and constructed the Rupertus Walk which connects the greater UC San Diego campus to the Blue Line Trolley extension.
