Tenant improvement of two mixed-use commercial office buildings. These amenity-heavy TIs included significant modifications to the shell and core to accommodate three added stairs, particularly the curved central building feature stair which required de-tensioning of PT decks at all five stories.
The building designs follow a "Made in Washington" theme for the campus, with the Central Building focusing on Industry and the North Building focusing on Infrastructure.
Amenities include workspaces, research areas, a five-story spiral staircase, seven micro kitchens, two full-service front-of-house and back-of-house cafes, a 250-seat event production space, a music room, an arcade, bike storage, outdoor patios, a wellness center, and a fitness center with locker rooms.
