Oakland High School Modernization

Honoring the Past, Building for the Future.

This 42,000sf progressive design-build project renovated Oakland High School’s original 1912 three-story main building and 1957 two-story addition. Scope included specialty spaces such as a health clinic, day care, and upgraded kitchen, along with enhancements to natural light, outdoor learning areas, and overall functionality. Work addressed unreinforced masonry, abatement, and stormwater code requirements, while contingency funds supported owner-directed improvements without exceeding the project budget.
