Chapter Building II

Lab and office space in the central core of the U-District.
This project was the ground-up construction of a 10-story lab and office building with two levels of below-grade parking and retail space on a tight urban site. It featured a brick veneer enclosure with punched openings and curtainwall. Rooftop amenity decks were built at Levels 8 and 10, with indoor amenity space at the roof. The shell and core scope included provisions for life science uses, including slab knockouts and mechanical/electrical infrastructure. The project also included the build-out of locker rooms, restrooms, bike storage, and lobby finishes. This building achieved LEED Gold.
