This $2.3 million, design-build cafe and exercise building is located in the western portion of the GlaxoSmithKline campus. The cafeteria includes a full commercial kitchen and two dining areas that can seat up to 300 people. Both dining areas feature multi-media equipment for presentations. The northern dining area includes a flexible folding partition to accommodate a training area. The exercise facility includes locker rooms adjacent to the fitness center and offices. The cafeteria also features an integral security system that interfaces with the existing campus system. The 11,000 SF building was completed May 2008.

Under an extremely tight schedule, eight individual suites located on the Suite Level of Safeco Field were converted into the new Mariners All-Star Suite. The project included demolition of interior partitions and installation of high-end finishes, including concrete tile flooring, carpet, glass tile backsplash, custom island bar, new vertical grain fir casework, and slate countertops. At the Club Level, an existing bar was demolished to make room for new reception area and metal stairs with access to the Suite Level.

The new 24,000 SF Willamette Christian Church features assembly space, classrooms, restrooms, and offices. The project included a multi-purpose room complete with a full-service commercial kitchen. The space was designed to be flexible and be converted from congregation space to a basketball court. Phase II included an 8,800 SF addition to the new church featuring assembly space, classrooms, restrooms, offices, and a waterfall feature in front of the new entrance.

Inglewood Country Club is an 88 year-old facility that serves as a private country club and golf course to more than 400 members. This project consisted of renovations and new additions to the existing site and structure. Renovations took place in the men’s locker room, bar/lounge area, and the exterior patio. Complete upgrades brought wet areas, shower rooms, and bathroom attendant areas up to current code. Throughout the project, the goal of the renovation was to maintain and preserve the historic value of this property. This was accomplished by matching 1920’s period molding with custom millwork fabrication and blending. Custom ceramic tiles were also fabricated to blend seamlessly with the existing finishes. The construction and renovation took place in a fully-occupied facility without interruption to the member’s golfing or club’s social functions. To keep members updated and aware of construction progress, BNB created and published a quarterly newsletter titled ‘FORE’.
