Brad Bastian
A graduate of Oregon State University, co-founder Brad Bastian has 23 years of construction experience in all phases of project development. Brad's proactive approach to resolving construction challenges and client advocacy has resulted in him taking an important leadership role on many of our major projects.
Jeff Nielsen
A co-founder of BNB, Jeff has 15 years of experience in the construction industry. Much of his career has been focused on the construction of life sciences and high-technology projects in Washington, California, and Montana. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Washington.
David Becker
David Becker is a graduate of Colorado State University and has 20 years of experience in the preconstruction and construction of life science and commercial projects. He serves as a key contact between BNB and our clients to ensure the project delivery always meets the client’s expectations. A few of David’s past clients include Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Stanford University, and Gilead Sciences.
Sean Truesdale
A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, Sean has more than 15 years of construction experience. This experience includes more than five million square feet of commercial construction in the biotech, healthcare, corporate campus, pharmaceutical, high tech, developer shell, tenant improvement, and residential construction markets.
Joe Bash
A Purdue University alumni, Joe has 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been involved with design-build construction work for many biotech and pharmaceutical firms on projects with construction values up to $70 million. These projects have included managing the installation of manufacturing facilities, fermentation suites, cell processing suites, clinical manufacturing facilities, clean rooms, and research and development labs.
Jim Charpentier
Jim has 15 years of construction industry experience. He has been involved in all phases of the construction process with a particular focus on providing leadership up front through the preconstruction and contract negotiation phase. His work history includes working with clients on projects valued at over $300 million as well as managing smaller, fast-paced tenant improvement work for educational, corporate, and healthcare clients.
Rick Philipovich
Rick Philipovich has established himself as one of the region's experts in the management of GC/CM projects. A few of his past projects include the University of Washington Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science and Engineering, Maryland General Hospital, Snohomish County Administration Building, and Burien City Hall and Library. A proud graduate of Penn State University, Rick has 19 years of construction experience.
Ed Shea
With more than 19 years in the construction industry, Ed Shea brings a variety of experience to BNB including hi-tech, biotech / pharmaceutical, and commercial. Ed enjoys building relationships with clients for the long term. He is past President of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) SF Bay Area Chapter, Past President of the City of Hope Real Estate and Construction Board, and is active in CoreNet and CSHE. Ed is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the University of Hartford.
Mike Anderson
Mike is a graduate of Stanford University and has supervised well over $1 billion worth of construction in the Bay Area during his 27-year career. He has extensive experience in the construction of Life Science, High Technology, and Higher Education facilities. Mike utilizes his executive experience to assist in the day to day and strategic management of the company operations, as well as assist in achieving sustainable growth while maintaining effective management controls for the company. He has a “hands on” attitude and actively participates in projects from preconstruction planning to construction completion.
